Fish/Seafood in Minnesota
Hello!
I am heading to Minnesota for a few days. I love fish. What types of fish are local to Minnesota (that are tasty) and any suggestions for fish/seafood restaurants in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington or Duluth?
Thanks!

Hi there,
I live in St. Paul. Walleye seems to be the Minnesota state fish.
Tavern on Grand in St. Paul supposedly has the best fish fry in the state. It isn't fancy, but the prices are reasonable and the fish fry is good! We also love the Wild Onion (also on Grand Avenue in St. Paul). They have a special Walley of the Month, as well as regular fried or baked walleye. Their tarter sauce with capers is to die for!
Enjoy your time here in MN!

tavern on grand is great for Walleye! Other fresh fish is best and at a great price at Three Fish in the Lake Calhoun area of Minneapolis. then you can walk around the lake! The food is as good as Oceanaire and the prices are much, much better!
