I like the beach below the Diamond Head cliffs as noted in my blog http://www.oahufamilyactivities.com/. The view is incredible, its one of the nicest beaches on the island, and its close to Waikiki by rental car or cab.

I have not been very active on this site for several years.

Lots of good info, but many of the sites/links are no longer valid.

I mainly only get on the TripAdvisor Hawaii forums now.
