Wow, we have to do this! As a matter of fact, "Mary" is actually our dog's name. She was a malamute/lab rescue and just wonderful. She lived 14 lively years and left us in September. We now have Kirby, a lovable 7-year-old Cocker Spaniel rescue, and The Biscuit, an adorable four-month-old Pug-Chihuahua-Terrorist, er Terrier, mix. We know we'll miss them, so this will help a lot! Thanks for telling us about it!
Cruisin_Tigger did you really take yours home? Do tell how that worked--were you able to take him/her home on your flight? What a great story.

Cruisin_Tigger - thank you so much for posting that link! Have been thinking all week that I'm so excited for my trip to Kauai but extremely sad about having to leave my dog behind. Would LOVE to take a pup out for a hike one day.
Cranberry is adorable.

My recommendations:
Splurge on a helecopter tour.
Eat where the locals eat.
Lihue's Fish Express is da bomb!
Stop by the Limahuli Garden in Haena.
Check the weather before booking anything.
Take a hike to the first waterfall on the Kalalau Trail located near Hanalei.
Go to Tunnels beach.
Relax!
