Fine Dining VA Beach area

We are going to Sandbridge Beach (right below VAB) this month and one of the things we like to do in beach week is go out one night for dinner adults only and nice dinner (kids stay back and order pizza). We have been going to Hatteras Island for years and had our special restuarant...but now a new place. Any thoughts as to a place that might suffice? We are looking for: ambience, water view, great service, New American or American Fusion type menu, good bar, cost not an issue (our one splurge).

Any suggestions appreciated!

A very nice place to go is Blue Pete's. We go to Sandbridge regularly and love the place - it has everything you are looking for. Enjoy!

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, One Fish Two Fish (www.onefish-twofish.com) is wonderful. I believe the menu is on their website.

geolovestravel, our last few visits to Lynnhaven Fish House have been disappointing. Food and service mediocre at best....maybe we just hit a couple of bad nights but one was mid-winter and the last in June. The views are nice, though.
