FBI Tours Washington
Does anyone know if the FBI Building tour is operating? I am coming to DC in 3 weeks and really hoping to do the tour. Was also wanting to go on the Fall Garden Tour of the White House on 21st October but presume this has been cancelled.
Am so sorry about the tragic events at the Pentagon and also about the recent tornado devastation.

Angel,
In my opinion, the FBI tour was the most overrated bust in our week in DC. We waited for 2 hours and it was really disappointing, right up there with the tour of the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. I would not consider going unless you have priority tickets to go straight in. All of this is a moot point if tours are no longer open to the public, of course.

Marsha is right. The FBI tour is quite lame.
Thank you for your thoughtful message. I know that certain show tickets at the Kennedy Center (and perhaps Ford's Theatre) are half price in an attempt to boost attendance following WTC. I saw Sheer Madness the other night (front row = $19.50). Very funny, and such a deal. You will find October a lovely and uncrowded time to visit.
