Favorite Steakhouse?

I love trying steakhouses when I travel. Sometimes personal recommendations are better than travel guides. What is your favorite steakhouse? I'll be happy to eat my way through the list.
p.s. so far, my favorite is Morton's of Chicago

The best steakhouse I've eaten at and I've eaten at several good ones is Dickie Brennan's in New Orleans. Hope you get to try it.

The El Gaucho Steakhouses in Portland and Seattle are great. Stay at the Benson Hotel in downtown Portland - the El Gaucho is right next store.

Although it's not a steakhouse there's a restaurant called York Imperial (not Chinese although it sounds like it is) on York Avenue in NYC that cooks one of the best filet mignons I've ever tasted.

The Pine Club in Dayton, Ohio. Even the president (the first Mr. Bush) had to wait for an hour or so while his secret service man waited inside for his name to be "called".

Here's a second for Peter Luger's. Bar none the best steak I've ever tasted and ever expect to taste. Also a very interesting restaurant experience.

Harris' in SF is very, very good, but the very best IMHO is Gene and Georgetti's in Chicago. Around long before Morton's was even a thought.

My #1 is Peter Luger. Fantastic. Another great NY steakhouse is the Post House.

In Indianapolis, St Elmo's is great. There is also a great, out of the way place near Crawfordsville, IN called the Beef House. Fantastic, big steaks.

Del Fresco's in Orlando and Dallas. The filet is the size of a baseball and oh so tender!

I vote for Dickie Brennan's in New Orleans and Harris Ranch on the way to SF from LA on I-5. Although Harris's doesn't have the ambiance, it has a great steak.

Gibson's in Chicago. A great steak, and waiter brought us a great bottle of Cakebread Cabernet Sauvignon that wasn't on the wine list.
