Father-daughter trip to Maui

My first grade daughter and I would like to travel to Maui (approx)6/26 - 7/9 from San Jose, CA,and hook up with others who will be staying in the Kihei area. I would like any recommendations on acquiring best airfare and
budget lodging from Kihei to Lahaina. My daughter really deserves this and I don't want to disappoint, but I feel the planning time crunch. Please help!!!
Thanks.

Don't give up! You will have a great time! Check websites for condo rentals in Kehei or Lahaina. (I think that Kehei is more family oriented) Search engine - condo rental kehei - and see what somes up. I was checking snorkel websites for an upcoming trip and they are representing condos also.

Good luck.

Thanks, Andy. Iam looking at condos and there are several priced right. Now if I could just get the airfare. Do I have any rich uncles out there that I don't know about?

why don't you try Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays? They even have a special where kids fly free now for sometime period, I think maybe your dates. We are staying at the Aston Kaanapali Shores 4 nights 5th night free with $200 in dining credit. Also get entertainment book for 50% off and get Gold Card for tons of savings. Go with PHH. Call them and see what they can do, I'm in LA and got airfare in package for around $310 each.

Don't want to confuse you.
Paid $1900, includes 5 nights oceanview one bed condo Kaanapali, airfare for 2, and the protection plan $100 for 2 (so you can make any changes at all totally refundable. We still need to get the other 3 nights, that's where the E card kicks in $150 for our 1 bed condo, and car from Budget w/15% off, convertible for 8 days $308. We could have gotten economy for $130.

have you checked travelocity.com or expedia.com. Sometimes if you can wait until the last minute seats not previously sold go on sale.
