Family with teenage son

We are travelling to Florida in April with our teenage son. This will be our 6th visit but the 1st time that we will be with our son on his own. We are spending 3 days in Disney but then we are unsure of where to go that will be interesting and not too quiet for a teenager. Any suggestions?

Our son is fifteen years old and mad about cars/jet ski's that sort of thing. He's outgoing and makes friends easily. Last year we stayed at The Westin in Key Largo and that's the sort of Hotel we would like to stay in again.

April will be a good time to catch some Baseball spring training games in and around Ft. Lauderdale. Probably something the whole family can enjoy.

Spring training ends in late March or very early April. Try catching a Tampa Bay Devil Rays home game. Tampa isn't far from Orlando. The Kennedy Space Center tour is great. It is about an hour from Orlando. If he likes cars... try the Richard Petty Driving Experience... or if he like football...the NFL Experience at Disney World of Sports. I am sure he would love to see Mom attempt a field goal. The NFL is free. Richard Petty is pretty pricey for a ride along in a real NASCAR. (www.disneyworldsports.com)

Happy trails.
