Family Vacation

I'm trying to put togeather a family reunion/vacation over memorial day weekend. At this time we can all only get a few days off so we are hoping to go Fri-Tues.There will be 8 adults 3 kids. We are looking to rent a beach house or condo with 4 bedrooms/ 2baths for under a $1000. If you can help me please reply. Also does anyone know what the weather is like that time of year? Thanks in advance

phlebo, I doubt you are going to find a 4 bedroom beach house anywhere for $1000 over Memorial Weekend. You could probably get something a couple of blocks off the beach for that price. What area will you all be coming from? That would also help.

Skip the beach and take the family to New Orleans..... history, great food, incredible aquarium, Mardi Gras World, a terrific children's museum, the D-Day Museum for the adults, City Park, IMAX Theatre, all kinds of tours, music everywhere..... I think it's a fantastic place for a reunion!!! And you can definitely get a suite (or maybe two) at Quarter House or Grenoble House for under your price limit.

phlebo, Memorial Weekend is Black Biker Week in Myrtle Beach. Gridlocked traffic and lewd behavior. Keep going south and try Litchfield.
