Family Trip Recommendation
We are planning a trip the end of March with our three children 9,6, 1 from the southeast. We can fly anywhere in the Continental US for a week. Not disneyworld, we have already done that in December. Where would you recommend, considering our children's ages? Thanks!

How about Boston? The weather will be iffy but there are lots of indoor things to see and do at that time of the year. The Science Museum, the New England Aquarium and the Children's Museum are all loved by my daughters (9 and 6 also). There's also the Kennedy Library. There are several theater groups that put on productions geared for children (Wheelock Family Theater and a group associated with Emerson College also) though that is kind of hit or miss. The Freedom Trail might be a bit difficult to complete but you certainly could do portions. Also you could rent a car for the day and go down to Plimoth Plantation (living history museum). Or how about gong out to Concord and Lexington. Or drive to NH for the day
Or how about NYC - we just spend 3 days there and didn't even come close to doing 3/4s of what we planned. Lots of fun.
Personally I would be heading somewhere warm like Arizona - Scottsdale has some neat resorts that seem to be geared for kids. Check out the Pointe Hilton website. Haven't been but it looks awesome.
Have fun!!!

California coast is great too. Spend a few days on each end (SF and LA) with a couple of overnights in between. We did that with our kids (7 & 9 at the time). Started in SF for a few days, spent a night each in Big Sur and Solvang (with stops in between to check out coastal scenery, hearst castle, monterey aquarium, etc), then spend the last few days in Santa Monica. We also did it in March and had nice weather.

Last year we went to Tucson, AZ as well as Bisbee and Skywatcher's Inn (Benson), which might be too much traveling around for the 1-month old.
The year before we went to Club Med Sandpiper. Our kids (now 9 and 11) beg us to go back. We got a super rate (half price) and the kids got their own adjoining room. Unfortunately, I can't remember the travel agency but I think, Carlson Travel (?) offered us a very similar rate. we booked our own flight.
