family resort in phoenix

Where would be a nice resort to stay in Phoenix during mid march for a family with three teens. Looking for swimming, tennis, golf?

I, too, am looking for a resort in the Phoenix area for mid March for a family with teens. Those I have found thus far have been extrememly expensive. ($300 and up per night just for room with all activities extra $). I have come to the conclusion a family can vacation in Hawaii or the Caribbean for half the price of Arizona. Would like to hear more about Arizona resorts that have amenities but are priced more like those in Fla, Cal, or Hawaii.

Have you checked out Embassy Suites? I bet they have a web site.

Have you tried Hilton Pointe at Tapatio Cliffs or Hilton Pointe Squaw Peak? Both are great family resorts with fantastic swimming "ranches", tennis and at Tapatio, golf adjacent to resort and at Squaw Peak, horse stables. As Al says Embassy Suites Biltmore is wonderful and great location, but no golf or tennis included as far as I know. Also check out La Posada Resort and get back to us for more thoughts.

Doubletree La Posada resort, Scottsdale.
http://www.hilton.com/doubletree/hot...-DT/index.html They often have family specials, too. You may want to call and ask.

Stayed at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak in 1999 and it was great--great friendly sevice, fun tube ride water area, and great accomodations in the casitas (2 story houses with their own carports--like a condo) for only $135/ night. there is also a very reasonably priced Mexican restaurant (Aunt Chilada??)right across the road, and fast food places within walking distance.
