Fall trip, best location to stay in Vermont. Need help please.

If you haven't already booked your stays....Camden Maine is beautiful. We stayed at a B&B there called the Hawthorne Inn. It was the perfect location. If I had to do it again, I would have stayed there for several days and just made day trips from this location. There are new owners since we stayed a few years ago, but it was amazing.
