Fair St. Louis
Hi board!
I made reservations with my family to stay at the Adam's Mark on June 30th and just found out about Fair St.Louis. Could somebody give me some tips on how to go about enjoying this festival? Where is it located? Can we walk there from downtown? Where are the fireworks going to be? Any help would be aprreciated!

The Adams Mark hotel is not only located in downtown St.Louis but is also a hop, skip and jump from where Fair St. Louis is held. The following website should be able to answer any other questions you have:

We stumbled upon the fair in a traffic jam as we were trying to get through St. Louis one year. We decided, what the heck! and stopped. The fair is down by the river, all around the arch. the day we were there, there was a free rock concert and a wonderful air show. One of the best fairs I've ever attended. Have fun!

You'll be right across the street from the fairgrounds (held on the Gateway Arch grounds.)
All kinds of food! But for food / beverages you have to buy a $4.50 coupon book of tickets that will cost you $5.00 each. The 50 cents on each $5 goes for clean up, etc. But you have to have the coupons - no money.
Air shows during the day, fireworks every night. Big name entertainment on the mainstage and local bands on the smaller stages. All Free!
Only problem is 4th of July in St. Louis is H-O-T - and if not hot you're probably caught in a rainstorm. But the crowds keep coming back.
You'll be glad you decided to go to St. Louis at that time of year.
