The FAA wants to know your ideas and suggestions. Tell them and hopefully they will use some of them.

Well, it is finally starting to get partisan.
Congressional Democrats are proposing that airport security be federalized. Congressional Republicans are non-commital at this point.
Fodorites have discussed airport security at length over the last two weeks, and you all know the issues by now. If you believe (as I do) that the only hope we have of obtaining decent airport security is to take it seriously, fund it, and federalize it, write your representative ASAP.
Let's not let the special interests who are vested in the current system win this time. Too much is at stake.
