Experiences with Aloha Airlines

Hi All,
Does anyone have any recent experiences with Aloha Airlines? I'm planning to fly from Sacramento to Maui and have many choices but have never used Aloha or Hawaiian Air.
Thanks.

I have flown Aloha twice, both times direct from Orange County to Kona and have had great experiences both times. The flights were on time and the planes were in good shape.

If you can find a deal, spring for the shekels, and/or are a AAA member (really), try to ride First Class on Aloha. Un-bee-lievable service, best FC flight I've ever had in the US. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and cold milk as you fly over the islands. How bad is that?

My family of five flew Aloha from Burbank to Maui August 2003. We had no problems at all and enjoyed the flight. We rebooked this coming summer using United Miles, a reciprocal airline.

Used them for inter-island travel only last February, but they were wonderful. One member of our party fell at the airport in Honolulu, dislocating their shoulder. Aloha stopped me at my gate to prevent me from traveling on to our final destination in Kawai, helped with hotel accommodations for that evening, and rescheduled our flight without charge the following day...... and we were in coach!

Well Rusty, some of us like to wait till we're on land to imbibe and those cookies hold us over while we're standing in those wonderful interisland flight lines.

Thank you all so much. Your information gives me confidence to buy tickets from them should their fares be the best. I do belong to AAA so I'll check that out. Oh yes, Rusty, I like homemade cookies and milk!!!
