I think they're six on one hand, half-dozen on the other. I find myself using Travelocity more, but that's simply due to using it first.
I'm guessing that you'll end up choosing between United and Frontier. With less than 14 days advance purchase, I'll be interested in hearing how much you pay. What is your departure airport?

I have used both. Go with the one that gives you the better price. Also check the individual airline websites as their fares may be cheaper than the consolidators. Also, if you are a member of a frequent flyer program, you can get bonus miles by booking at the airline's website.

Try www.sidestep.com
It searches other sites for best fares. Just tried St. Louis (since that's where I fly from) to Denver 12/15 - 12/23 9(random choice of dates over a Sat) Frontier Airlines came up with a $340 fare.
You have to install SideStep, which adds a button on your browser but it's easy to use. Then it takes you to the lowest price site for booking - often the airline's own site. Handy tool.
