Excellent Boston MAP

If you want to know where absolutely everything is in Boston (they make it for other major citieis), you MUST buy a map by MAPEASY. They are also online at www.mapeasy.com I have had it sitting here for months and never looked at it. I had so many questions about Boston and if you have questions after looking at this, what can I say? It is the most comprehensive map I've seen of a city. Tells you were restaurants, hotel and highlights of city are, boston common, fanueil hall. I bought it at a bookstore (bandn) for $5.95.

Thanks Amy,

I am off to Boston in february for a week, and have been trying to get as much info as possible(not used to travel by myself). I am travelling from Scotland, so you tip would be most useful. Do you know any good places to visit and see in boston? If you wish you could e-mail me at [email protected]

Thanks anyhow

Kenneth

Amy, be careful -- Mr. Kenneth has been seen soliciting young female companionship for this trip!

Thanks for the heads up, Lookout. If I were going to Boston, maybe we could travel together, after my investigator had him checked out, of course. LOL

Hope the map helps you Kenneth.

I'm guessing this recommendation is a "plant". They're all over the AOL message boards. I enjoy the MapEasy maps - they're whimsical and beautifully drawn, for sure. But, I would NEVER rely on one for getting around and would always also get a REAL map...I was telling some folks at the table next to us in a restaurant in Paris about the view from the roof of La Samaritaine. The only map they had was the MapEasy map of Paris. The Pont Neuf metro station was omitted! I wonder if the shops and restaurants pay to be included. I've noticed many places that are just SO famous not on their maps, while obscure places are included...A few weeks ago, after glancing at it briefly in the store, I bought the New Orleans MapEasy map. When I got home, upon closer inspection, much of the print was too faint to read, particularly the blue text (hotels). I went back to exchange it, thinking mine was defective, but the entire stock was the same. I brought it back home and sent an e-mail at the MapEasy website, assuming that they would promptly offer to send me another. I received no reply.
