Hello Al& Gia, we styed there 2 years ago for 5 nites, and liked it very much. We had big suite with 2 TVs and a balcony with partial ocean view. The lobby was lovely and the gardens were lush.
I enjoyed it very much and it had a great location on the beach. One of my favorite places to stay in Florida. They even had meet and greet cocktail party for the guests one evening....nice touch!
We had a good rate with the Entertainment card FYI.

I have relatives who live in Naples, away from the beach in conventional non-luxury housing, and every once in a while ther treat themselves to a stay at the Edgewater, believing it is the best combination of service, location, value, quality, etc.
Hard to beat having locals voluntarily stay there as a recommendation.

Our 2 favorites in Naples are the Registry Resort-all rooms have view of gulf-hotel has a jitney to drive you thru nature preserve to beach and THE RITZ CARLTON NAPLES which directly faces the beach-RItz was just voted #1 hotel in US by Travel and Leisure-we have stayed at each hotel for the past 10 years -both in season and off season. THE REGISTRY'S fancy restuarant is FANTASTIC---but on a whole,we LOVE the RITZ-in the summer they usually have an AX or Visa promo and rooms go for $149 pn--
