By any chance do you mean the EarthSong? I just booked a stay there for my family for next summer based on a recommendation from a Fodor's writer. But it looks like there are several places where I would have been happy to stay. (For us, the dog kennel and slide shows tipped the balance.)
By the way, I didn't notice your post coming up under Alaska. Did you click on Alaska when you posted the initial query?
Good luck.

OOOPS, what a goof. I do indeed mean EarthSong. Thanks for the gentle correction. Would you please post a review when you return? We are not planning our trip until Sept 2006. And, yep, the dog kennel struck me as interesting too.

Thanks. I will look forward to it. We are going to be a group of four adult couples primarily interested in hiking and wildlife viewing. We also love a good meal at the end of the day. I will be interested in knowing any great restaurants you find and how you do with the Park shuttle.
Enjoy your trip.

We stayed at Earthsong for 2 nights this past summer. Had a very good time there. Very CLEAN & comfy...Its out on the tundra..We enjoyed a simple dinner there the first night and enjoyed the slide show. We also purchased a boxed lunch for our very early DENALI shuttle ride. Also very good! Ate at the Black Diamond Grill, nearby, the 2nd night and the 9 of us had a wonderful time & dinners! Got back too late to see anymore slides..Took the kennel tour before checkout, very informative. The dogs are super well behaved and were quiet during our stay except for a couple "lonesome songs" when the urge striked, and a robust greeting for their food..We would stay there again in an "Earthsong minute!" We really enjoyed the details in the handmade cabins and being out in the middle of nowhere.
