Can some please explain this concept to me? I underdstand that this is what Light at Bellagio has and just wanted to know what it was before I made a fool of myself.

European bottle service allows the patron to buy a bottle of alcohol and keep the bottle at his or her table and serve from there. It is also done in certain parts of Asia. Some people think that it lends a more personal touch to the evening as the diners are not interupted by servers as often. Personally, I like a good bartender.

Think of it as a new way for the bar or club to make even more money. You buy the bottle of vodka, tequila or whatever and it is placed on your table so you can mix your own drinks. I don't think this is a great idea for a couple but I guess it could be fun for a group walking back to their room. Bottles will cost you 100 bucks and up. If martinis are $12 bucks this is sort of a "value". LMF

Thanks for all your information. I actually spoke with the night club and found out that the service if the only way you can reserve a table and is 1 bottle for 4 people and a bottle is is $300.00. I think I will sit at the bar instead!
