we are planning a family vacation to emerald isle this summer. Has anyone rented a condo that they would recommend? We have three young boys who like the beach as well as the pool.

Our family usually rents a cottage on the ocean, so don't have experience with the condos, but these two agencies are reliable. Hope this helps.

Why settle for a condo when Emerald Isle is known for its great assortment of cottages and duplexes, many of them incredibly close to the water. Practically all the beachfront rentals have a wooden walkway that gets you to the beach in just a few steps, with a sitting area atop the dune for watching the kids play. With young kids, I'd definitely go with a cottage. Check Emerald Isle Realty.

You got to try the shrimp burgers there. Atlantic Beach is on the North End and Emerald Isle is on the south End. In the middle is Salter Path. Find a place there.
