Okay, before anyone starts feeling left out, what BayouGal meant by cool was in reference to temperature..
See sillies, it's only in the 50's here today, so yes, I am cool.
And on this forum, everyone is popular.(Especially if you keep some nice white wine in your locker and you have a sweeet convertible to ride me home in after school).. J.

However, it is as hot as H*LL in the deep south, so you can be HOT and cool at the same time!

I would have missed this -

What a great idea!!! Good Luck with taking your youngest to college. My oldest is in college and she never came home this summer. I guess she is leaving the nest for good!!

I may need some tips with regard to this!!

Have a great weekend!

I don't have any mail from you, J.

Mat, I just emailed you, and all the gang.

I am trying get my email fine-tuned so I can email and not have the addresses show. I think I may have finally gotten it.

If anyone has a problem, or does not receive ANYTHING from me today, PLEASE let me know.

Anne, our oldest 3 have completely flown the nest. It's not as hard as I thought it would be. Don't know how we'll do with the "baby" though. None of us are ready! ;-) (Well, she thinks she is, but we don't!)

Anne, is Arc trainer the same as an ellipitical machine or are you referring to a literal person?

Y'all, it's very hard for me to exercise on this overly full stomach.;-) That chicken salad I made for lunch was TOO good!

BayouGal - the arc trainer is indeed like an elliptical. The personal trainers at my gym say it is a better work out though!!

I don't have a personal trainer - I did years ago, so I try to remember his pearls of wisdom - I just dont have anyone cracking the whip!!

I hope you're not going to be sending out those generic mass-mailings "what we did today" messages that some people send at Christmas. Who cares if third cousin twice removed daughter's got braces and was student of the week 3 times at her prep school and how their trip to Peoria went? Not me! Keep mine personal Bayou!

You already read it, didn't you, mat?!

Just kidding, no I'm not into mass mailing, but I want to respect others' wishes to not share their email addresses, so trying to learn how to do it correctly. But I am female, and may change my mind and mail something to everyone if it fits.

Thanks, Anne, about the same time you responded, I reread your post clearly stating that you love that "machine." One of those "duh" moments! LoL Yes, that is my favorite machine too, and talk about a workout. I am the elliptical Queen at my gym!

BayouGal - if you don't wish to have recipents addresses show, us the BCC: field, rather than CC: or multiple addresses in the TO:

AOL may have changed, but at one time you put the cc: addresses in parenthesis in order to NOT divulge them. I don't know if multiples would be
(Addr1). (addr2), (addr3) or if you could do
(addr1, addr2, addr3)

Just use a TO: address the same as the address it's being mailed from.

Hope that helps. BTW, you could look at Yahoo Groups too. (yes, not travel, but I'm glad to help if it gets non-travel OFF Fodors)

Hi BayouGal, if you are going to send a message to more than one person here is what I do. In the cc line I put in my email address. And than in the bbc line I put in the address of everyone I am writing to..that way no address is passed onto anyone else.

Have a wonderful weekend..I will be sending emails tonight..thanks to this week and some other stuff going on I am behind with my messages. CinCin

my dear, you can't consider that excercise.. the repetitive wrist motion for Kielbasa sausage consumption, well, maybe good for half a calorie..

:-?me thinks you do "a robe ick" stuff anyway.. and are more adept at swilling your Pina coladas in cuh-wy-eeeee.... * J.*smooch*

BayouGal: Do you also know about using address book groups? You can gather all the addresses you use together into a group and enter the group name in the bcc field. The message you send then goes to all those addresses without you having to enter each one.

One caveat: if you are sending to a number of AOL addresses, the AOL mail handler assumes that, if you have more than fifteen addresses in your message, it is spam and they drop an atomic bomb on it. When I was doing group mailings, I had to have one group for everyone but AOL and a separate group for them. Once the AOL group reached 15, I had to start another.

If you want to add me, I'm at DonWood at CascadeAccess.com (with the usual adjustments to prevent address mining.

Don
