Econolodge in San Francisco

Hello!
First of all, this forum has been very helpful! Thank you everybody for sharing your knowledge.
I have made reservations for 3 nights in July at the Econolodge on Lombard Street (2505 Lombard St.)
A room with a king bed and a sofabed on a Tuesday was $99 before tax. It is $88 for Wednesday and Thursday. Are these good prices?
The Econolodge states that there is free parking, but doesn't specifically say if it is limited or not. Do you know if this hotel has adequate parking spaces (at least 1 space for each room)?
Also, is this a safe area of San Francisco?
The reasons I chose this Econolodge are because of the amenities (refrigerator and microwave) and the price.
Overall, do you recommend this hotel for a family of 4?
THANK YOU for your time! Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Amy, Never stayed there, but I can assure you that that part of Lombard is perfectly safe and lined with motels with reasonable rates. The traffic might get to you a bit, however.

If your top priority is price, you can't go wrong there.
