Easter in Chicago w/kids

We're planning on all the usual activities: Disney Quest, Shedd, Adler, ect. Any other advice for interesting activities with kids, especially theater? Any shows that might be fun for kids and grown ups?

Also, would love some recommendations for nicer (moderately) restaurants that won't be wasted on the children (they are 8 & 10).

THANKS!

I dont know whether you have boys or girls, but girls like The American Girl Store, they have a show and restaurant. If I can think of anything besides the touristy stuff I post again.

Thanks Coco,

We have two boys, so the American Girl suggestions probably won't go far...although I would love it! Oh Well! Any other recommendations?

For restaurants I would recommend Cheesecake Factory and Giordano Pizzeria. For evening entertainment I would recommend "Comedy Sports". It's an improv comedy show geared towards families. It's appropriate for all ages.

You must do the Field Museum of Nature if you have kids. Call ahead - they might have a scheduled show or two that would enhance the experience. Be sure to see "Sue" the dinosaur and the mummies in the basement.
