My family and I are vacationing in Washington DC this Easter (March 28 - April1) and would like to have an enjoyable, traditional Easter dinner on Sunday. Any suggestions?

You might want to check out the 1789 restaurant in Georgetown. You could also look at Sequoia at Washington Harbour. Off the top of my head, both would offer a fairly traditional menu.

Sunday dinner isn't done much in DC restaurants; brunch is the main restaurant meal on Sundays. That said, though, your best bet for dinner might be the hotel dining rooms. I took out of town guests to Easter brunch at Sequioa several years ago and it was crowded, disorganized, and the food wasn't great either. We had a fabulous meal at 1789 (not on Easter though) and will gladly return there for fine food and elegant service.

I second that about lack of dinners on Sunday. Brunch is the main attraction in D.C. on Easter and the place to go is the Grand Hyatt. There Easter brunch is second to none.

Anyone know anything about Georgia Brown's for brunch on Easter Sunday?
