Never stayed at the condos but very familiar with the area. East Vail is great if you don't mind being snowed in if a storm hits. Not a lot of sun in East Vail compared to some other down valley areas either. Go to www.snow.com for info on Vail. Lots of snow recently!

Collette,

Its been dumping here in Vail for the past couple weeks - something like 4-5 feet. Snows great.

Timberfalls is pretty basic - clean, comfortable. Units are individually owned so each unit is different. You can request a unit thats nicer or remodeled more recently, but its all based on availability.

Looks like the 6" rule applies for tomorrow - powder day, no work til noon!

Thanks for the info!! Don't understand the "snowed in", not much sun in E. Vail comment------are we really THAT far away from the ski hill?

East Vail is on the mountain side of I-70. It gets very little sun on a good day. If you happen to be in the middle of a good storm you could get "snowed in." I'd prefer to stay in another location myself. To dandandan, March is usually a great time to be in Vail. Spring conditions call for lighter clothing with decent snow. However, it all depends on the snowfall.
