If you leave Albany at say 5, instead of 4, you'll definately arrive in the NYC area after the bulk of the rush hour traffic and the start of the Yankee game. Stadium traffic should start to subside a bit after 7, then all you'll have is your everyday NY traffic.

By the way Ryan, what's your suggestion of a route into the city if we do decide to drive? GWB or Lincoln Tunnel? (Mixed reviews here...)
