Doubletree suites

Has anyone stayed in this hotel in the last month or so? I am booked there with my two daughters and husband for July 17th and 18th and would like some recent input on cleanliness, updates etc. We have two rooms booked.

OK - FYI -- all threads are lumped together on one forum --"United States", so no one will know from your title where you are asking about.

1) you would have had a BIT more luck if you had clicked on Wash D.C. since folks looking for threads about DC would find it. But you didn't and it is too late to add it now.

2) And just clicking on DC isn't enough since everyone will see just "Doubletree suites" and unless they clicked on DC themselves will only know you are looking for a Doubletree Suites somewhere in the country.

Soooo - all of this was just to let you know a bit more of how the forum works.

I recommend you start a new thread w/ a Title something like "DoubletreeSuites in Wash. D.C.?" and also clicking on Wash DC before you post it.

Then anyone seeing your title will know exactly what you are looking for (unless there are more than one Doubletree in the DC area - then you should be even more specific)

It's in a good location (Foggy Bottom) and you can get into Georgetown and the area around George Washington Univ quite easily. However, it's not really convenient to the Metro, for tourists wanting to head down to the Mall to see all the museums, Lincoln, Jefferson and various memorials, you will have a pretty good hike to the subway.

I work in DC and have not stayed here but have stayed at other Doubletree suite hotels and have always been pleased.

But I would probably book in the Dupont Circle area.
