Do's & Don'ts in Toronto Canada
I am travelling to Canada in May just for a short stay (ie 7 days).
Is there anything i should watch out for or anything i should look for and not miss out on ?
Any answers to the above would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Best Regards.

Dave...There's plenty to see and do in Toronto depending on your interests. You can take in the Royal Ontario Museum and the Art Gallery of Ontario if you are so inclined. Toronto is a cosmopolitan city so you might like to visit Chinatown or along Danforth Av. a lively Greek community. The Eaton Centre is a large shopping mall downtown and even if you don't plan to shop I would check it out. You can
always go to the top of the CN Tower for the view but obviously you need a clear day. Beside the CN Tower is the Skydome and in May you could take in a major league baseball game as the Blue Jays will be back in action by then. If you have never been before I would recommend a visit to Niagara Falls. There are daytrips by bus from Toronto and the journey is about 1 1/2 hours. The city of NF is quite touristy but if you can ignore that the falls are spectacular. Also in NF is a fairly new casino which I understand is pretty glitzy so even if you are not a gambler it might be worth a peek. I would suggest either getting a travel guide or doing some research on the web before you leave. Unlike many major cities Toronto is quite safe and you don't have to worry about being out and about. The subway, buses & streecars will get you everywhere within the city that you want to go, parking downtown is quite expensive but the driving isn't horrendous if you will have a car. Have a great stay!

There is plenty to see and do in Toronto..Casa Loma, a millionaire's home (castle) in the city, if you like a quiet stroll in a garden their's High Park, Edward's Gardens, you take a trolly ride on an ancient streetcar through the city, agree if you can manage it, Niagara Falls is spectacular, you can take a boat cruise around the harbour in the summer time, but I don't know if they are available in May. There are plenty of venues for live theatre--if you're interested I'd be happy to give you more info, just E-mail me.
