Erie, PA. You could fly, take a bus or train to get here. Lots of festivals & fairs. Population about 100,000. It's like a big small town.

Daniel_Williams, thanks for the tip. It's on my list but given its relative proximity to NYC, I hope to get there for a week-end. I may have to save up some cash first though, from what I hear.

Erie is new on me SeaF. Sounds good, and I'll check it out. Next trip perhaps.

Now if I could only get my wife and kids to go away more often...
