Does anyone know anything about Bradenton, FL?
My parents recently retired in Bradenton and I'm taking my kids (ages 8 & 12) for a visit in two weeks. None of us really enjoy going to the beach and I know that's big attraction down there. Does anyone have any suggestions about things to do in Bradenton?

As far as things to do with the kids, there is the South Florida Museum, BIshop Planetarium, and the Parker Manatee Aquarium.
You could drive to Busch Gardens in Tampa, maybe catch a Tampa Bay Devil Rays baseball game in St. Pete, or even drive to Disney.
