>>LeeAnn, I remember that dream <<

LOLOL - but since I had the dream, I *finally* found a store that sells Lillet! I'm going to pick some up tomorrow.

this is so bizarre when I mentioned Lillet way over a year ago no one knew it and a poster disagreed with me that it came in white as well as red now everyone is on the band wagon. Great tell your local liquer store to stock both and make it available everywhere. It's all about demand.

Is that like drinking it from your slipper?

I remember those ads from my college days!

Hi dear ones, here on the westcoast it is only 9:37pm as I write this post.
The time posted on Fodors is eastern time. So I am not up late. But I wish I could go to bed in a bit as I am tired but I must stay up until at least 11:30pm so I can call my daughter & SIL in Rome which will be about 8:30am there time Saturday morning.

Now, about the 12 loads of laundry. Yes it it true I am sorry to say. But it is done and all put properly away. This is due to my daughter & SIL rushing to Rome due to my SIL's parents both being in separate hospitals in Rome.

And so I have my grandson here. The 19 year old is doing his own laundry (hopefully) but I have not done any for two weeks due to the sudden family emergency in Rome plus I have had all of my 14 year old grandson laundry. Good grief, I forgot how much laundry kids can generate, LOL.

As some of you know, my life the last two weeks have been a bit chaotic along with worries. But somehow it all works out. And oh, still have one more load of laundry to do tomorrow. Now what does this have to do with travel? Nothing. I will say it before anyone else does.

Anway, this thread is strange , I almost jumped out of my skin when I clicked it on. But peeky does keep us all on our toes so to speak. Sweet dreams to all of you.

Sweety dreams to you too, Ilove Italy.

Lillet is mostly available in some areas in the white. It comes from Bordeaux. The best way to really taste it is on the rocks, otherwise you lose the flavor which is made from Armagnac, herbs, fruit and Bordeaux wine.

I dreamed I posted to an on-line community and followed the ups and downs of those I knew by "handles" alone!

I dreamed I explained this to others not engaged in the "sport" and they looked at me like I'd gone mad!

I had a nightmare in which all of Fodorville had disappeared and I was destined to chatting with cab drivers and fellow travellers in airport bars.

Nighty night

I had a dream once that I was walking down the street in Florence and I spotted Rex. In reality I have no idea what Rex looks like, but somehow I recognized him and greeted him like an old friend.

I have a mental picture of all of you, and I agree that LoveItaly looks a lot like Sophia Loren. In fact, you're all pretty good looking. The only ugly people on this board are the trolls. >-)

I haven't ever dreamt about a Fodorite, but I will say when my hubbie and I sometimes order a Mai Tai at our favorite Asian/Thai restaurant, I now think of MaiTaiTom.

Or when I am aware of personal troubles that our beloved are going through, such as LoveItaly, it stays with me, and I find myself thinking of that person during the day trying to send them good wishes.

May everyone have a little sunshine in their day this weekend, Tiff

Good morning everyone!!!

I sure had a good nights sleep, without any dreams to my knowledge.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and that all the Dad's especially have a Happy Father's Day.

A cyberhug to all.

I dreamed last night that there were a bunch of people looking through my house. They refused to leave until I yelled at them. For some reason they all seemed to be speaking German, so I guess this is travel-related. I couldn't remember enough high-school German to tell them that the house isn't on the market yet, but I did manage to shout "Heraus!" pretty convincingly.

This thread has been a riot to read. It reminds me of one a few years back - something like - how do you picture certain to look like -
there was a certain poster that i KNEW had to look just like Bill Clinton - no reason, just a feeoling!!!
I have not dreamed of fodorite, however it would be a whole lot more fun than the software demos I give in my dream ( work related)
tonight I hope to meet all the fun posters in my dreams....boy that sounds a bit umm.....
