Disneyland Friday or Saturday?!

I can spend one day at Disneyland next weekend (March 8-9) and I have to decide between going Friday or Saturday. Any thoughts from the more experienced folks here?

It probably won't make a whole lot of difference as far as park crowds are concerned, but Friday afternoon traffic around the area can be brutal, so that is a consideration.

Here's an inside skinny: Most folks get to Disneyland early in the day and burn out by dinnertime. A better idea is to arrive around 10:00 or even after lunch and stay into the evening. The crowds thin out and Disneyland is best at night. It's been quite warm during the day (70s) but it will get cold as soon as the sun gets low so bring jackets (you can leave them in your car until you need them). Or buy everyone Mickey Mouse sweatshirts. Way overpriced but the kiddies will want them anyway.

Have fun.

We were there in December for a Fri-Sat stay. Friday was a dream (we went to both California Adventure and Disneyland) - Sat was super crowded in Disneyland.
Friday is definitely the way to go. Stay until 7 or 8 pm and avoid the traffic.

We will also be there this weekend. From everything I have read (and I love to research vacations) Saturday is the day to avoid MK at all costs. Check out www.disboards.com
