Disney World in Feb with a 3 year old

We are thinking about staying at Disney for a few days next February with my parents and our 3 year old daughter. Does anyone have any suggestions as to best places to stay for probably 3 nights. We dont want to spend a fortune and would like it to be easily accessable to the parks. Has anyone else brought their 3 year old and did they think they were too young? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

3 years old is not too young - just don't get caught up with "will she remember this". Pack plenty of snacks and juice boxes (cereal & pretzels pack well) and of course, a stroller. Buy her an ice cream to eat on line if the line is long. We've always stayed at the Holiday Inn Family Suites and loved it - but alot of people like to stay onsite.

Two suggestions - First - stay on site at one of the monorail hotels if you can afford it. A child that young will need to take breaks and the monorail is the fastest way back to a room for a nap. Take the nap - take the nap - take the nap!!!! (that's the voice of experience talking)

Second suggestion is to avoid Feb if you have a choice. Feb is a very busy month with many Northeastern schools having a week's vacation sometime during the month (usually around Presidents Day). There are no bargains, and very large crowds. With a three yo you are not captive to a school's schedule and therefore may be able go in Jan which is far less busy.

For lots of WDW info, try www.disboards.com The people there are great & will answer any question you could possibly have. We are taking our 3 yo in January & staying on-site at the Wilderness lodge. It has a boat that takes you straight you to the MK. Check out mousesavers.com , some discount codes for on-site hotels should be out soon for Jan & Feb. The last codes had WL for $119/night. Don't miss Animal Kingdom & MGM.
And 3 years old is not too young! We went this summer and our 2yo loved every minute. He really liked meeting the characters too. Have a great vacation!

First of all, don't be afraid to go in February. The only busy week is President's week. Secondly, if you want to save on money (and who doesn't), stay at Disney's All-Star resorts. They're geared toward families with children, beautifully themed, have large food courts, and best of all their buses run continuously to all the parks (the monorail only goes to Magic Kingdom and Epcot).

Thanks for all of the info. We are looking inot the holiday inn family suites, which seems like a pretty good loaction and fairly inexpensive. We'd prefer not to go over $150/night,and their rooms can hold all 5 of us. If you have any other suggestions for something similar, thank you. We plan to go Feb 9-12, right before Pres Day weekend, so hopefully it wont be crowded.

Go to www.mousesavers.com. The person who does this board has unbelievable contacts as to how to get discounts for on sight properties. I got a discount code she found in a Spanish speaking newspaper and stayed at Disney All Star Music for $49 per night.

Yep, I think you'll miss the crowds as long as you're out of there before the 13th or 14th.
