Disney--Swan or Dolphin Hotel

I have the choice of the Swan or Dolphin Hotel and would like to know whether one is better than the other.

They are separated by an outdoor walkway and that is about it. They are essentially the same regarding rooms etc. They share the boat to Epcot. The kids club is located in one and not the other (Dolphim I think, it's been awhile since I;ve stayed in either one), but you can use it if staying at either one, use of almost everything is reciprocal. We stayed at Swan most recently two yrs ago and had the hotel pool w/slide right there. Does Dolphin share that same pool? I can't recall.

I stayed at the Swan this past June '03. It was very nice.
The Swan & the Dolphin share a huge pool w/slide, waterfalls, etc. They each also have a private pool. The Swan has basketball courts. The cafeteria style restaurant is located at the Dolphin. As emd stated, the two are just a short walk away from one another.
The heavenly beds were just that, and the service was excellent at the Swan.
Either one is a good choice for a trip to Disney ~ rates are often less @the Dolphin.

We just got the Dolphin for $69.00 on Priceline for mid-July for three nights. Dolphin is rated a resort through Priceline, you could try that.. but no guarantee you will get the Dolphin could be other resorts in that area.

I like the Swan a tad more than the Dolphin, the Dolphin seemed a tad more juvenile.
