Haven't been there in awhile but it was cool to ride bikes through. We saw lots of birds.

Yes, we drove through last week. There were birds to see but we did not see as many as our neighbor saw two days before-guess it just depends on conditions. Would be fun doing it on bikes so you could stop and take your time. Enjoy!

The tropical birds are here all year long. Wintering shore birds move in when the weather gets colder. We get all excited about those birds, even a woodpecker, because we see the herons, egrets, ibises, all year long. Did you know that Tampa has the largest number of American avocets ever recorded in one spot?
