Denver - Where to Eat
We don't like seafood, and we'll be staying both downtown and by DTC during our trip.
I'm looking for restaurants for my wife and I. Specifically, I'd like to get some good steakhouses and Italian places. Steakhouses we've eaten at in Denver include:
Brooks
Del Friscos
Gallaghers
The Palm
The Broker
Cool River
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

We love La Centrale for mussels and other French food. There is another high end French restaurant that I cannot call the name. Our favorite dining experience in Denver is Domo--a Japanese country restaurant near downtown. I think it is only open Thursday-Sunday. It is WONderful.

Steakhouses--The new Capital Grill in Larimer Square is supposed to be excellent. Also, how about The Keg, The Broker or the Manhattan Grill, though that's in Cherry Creek. I don't think The Trinity Grill is exactly a "steakhouse" but we also like that. The Palace Arms in The Brown Palace Hotel is another and Marlowes.
For Italian, we like Piatti's Ristorante (also in Cherry Creek), Maggianos and Il Fornaio. Have heard about, but haven't been to, Tiramisu, Bambino's and Campo de Fiori. For excellent pizza, there's the Wazee Supper Club.

You can check it out at trinitygrille.com. Here's a review from the Gabby Gourmet:
"As you enter Trinity Grille, the feeling of that old San Francisco eatery comes to mind. Lots of wood, bare floors, great colorful art and an excellent waitstaff set the scene for diners. Start with a crab cake, definitely the signature here. If you prefer, two cakes come as an entrée with fries and slaw. The rich, gooey onion soup is another hit and reflects the tradition of the menu. For main courses, choose from schnitzel, pork or veal chops, a selection of excellent steaks or French-fried lobster. The 14 oz lobster, cut into chunks, arrives deep-fried and has pleased fans for years. Order the sinfully delicious chocolate soufflé with your meal so it will be ready when you finish your entrée. Prices are reasonable. Arrive early to get a seat at lunch. Reservations are accepted for dinner."
