Denver traffic

I'll be driving into Dever via US 285, and I need to get to the Hyatt Regency for a meeting. Mapquest has a route including travelling 1 mile north on I-25 to Colfax. I'll be coming in at the tail end of the evening rush on a Friday. How is T-rex aroud there? Should I avoid I-25? If so, do you have any suggestions for alternate routes?

Thanks!

Hi Travellyn, I assume your going Downtown? I would take C470 to 70 east to 6 to Downtown

Thanks, Coskier. That's just what I needed. The Hyatt is at 1750 Welton, downtown.

Coskier is bang on. Forget mapquest, avoid i-25 altogether, and take 285 to 470 (make sure you're headed toward DENVER on 470) and take 470 to US 6 EAST). Take 6 to LINCOLN. and go left on Lincoln to 18th, then take another left and you'll be right near the Hyatt.

Thanks, flopmeister. I've got your instructions written down and ready to go. The trip isn't till Nov 14th, but I like to be prepared.
