Denver LoHi Help needed!!
My wife and I will be traveling to Denver in August for 3 nights and then spend the next week in Breckinridge.
We have decided to find a hotel in the LoHi area and need your help and suggestions for places to stay, restaurants, live music, walking paths. My wife is an avid photographer especially street art and we are aware of the RiNo Arts area. Any other neighborhoods that have murals?
Since we are staying at a family members house in Breckinridge we won't be needing any suggestions for our stay there.
Thanking you in advance! How wonderful to be traveling once again!!

Here's what a google search says. We haven't been there in a good while but there was an outstanding cheese shop there when we were last there. Good food fun places.

We did not want to be downtown but rather in a neighborhood with some restaurants, coffee shops nearby. We had thought of RiNo because my wife is a photographer and shoots street art and was considering The Source Hotel as well.

This is the cheese shop I mentioned. Loved it.
Whoa. BIG url. It is St. Killian's on Lowell Blvd.

We have decided to book The Source Hotel in the RiNo area. This will give us the best opportunity to visit this neighborhood with the best street art in Denver. Thanks to those who chimed in with suggestions. Now if you have any restaurant suggestions for lunch and/or dinner it would be greatly appreciated!

I didn't take it to be an introduction to new designations as much as new areas that are fun. I knew about Highlands but not the River.
Charlotte has also adopted the NYC names for areas. Makes it easier to talk about them IMO.
