You've received no responses at all?? Sorry about that.

In downtown Denver, there are lots of good choices, depending on your budget. The Brown Palace is the grande dame of Denver. But don't stay in their annex, stay in the historic building.

There are other boutique type hotels downtown. The Hotel Monaco is very good, for one. Also the Teatro gets good reviews, although I've never stayed there.

The Ritz-Carlton just opened their new hotel in downtown, also.

The Warwick is a very nice hotel, at the east side of downtown. Not as convenient to the LoDo action, though.

You will want to go to LoDo for the restaurant and club scene.

What's your budget?

I stayed at the Curtis on my last visit to Downtown and had a great time. It was cute.
I also like the Magnolia... I have stayed there many times and they always give me a full apartment with fireplace. It's great when you have a group of people. We all watched a movie in my living room.

If you plan to do anything spa then do Brown Palace. Also, I'd consider doing tea there too if that is your type of thing. Broadway has tons of antique stores to browse.

For fun and a burger Hamburger Mary's is a hoot. Be prepared for cross dressing. Drag queens.

Good martini Ave Grill

Cherry Creek is a Bevery Hills of shopping in Denver. Spend a few hours down there in the small shops. or hit Neiman Marcus and Saks at the mall. It's one of the few malls in the country that has NM, Saks, Macys, Nordstrom and then Cartier, Juicy, LV, Coach, etc.,.

16th Street mall will be fun for a day. But, not the best of shopping.

Check to see what shows are in town. The theater district is wonderful. The Office for drinks on the corner.

The most amazing brunch in town is at the Brown Palace. It's not cheap. But, it's worth it. Once in a lifetime experience.
