Delta shuttle La Guardia water taxi

Anyone know if the Delta shuttle still runs a water taxi from La Guardia to Manhattan?

Unfortunately, that service was discontinued years ago...

I did recently see an ad from AA for helicopter shuttle from JFK to Manhattan tho. Great convenience if time is of the absolute essence.

There have actually been talks of the circle line starting up a ferry to go to La Guardia airport and it was supposed to be running by now (2006) but it has been put on hold. So you actually aren't as far off as you think.

It seems a ferry service for JFK is/was also being considered... let's see.

The original water taxi service by Delta (and Pan Am before that) was discontinued in 2000 according to the article.
