Best way to get from Pittsburgh to NYC?

What's the cheapest, most reasonable, scenic, easiest way to go one way from Pittsburgh to New York city ?
Greyhound for $38?
Looks like Amtrak costs more, any reason to take it? Are there other options - other buses, etc? I'm guessing one way car rentals and flights would be way more expensive?
Other ideas?
thx

Of those, which do you want?
Cheapest is Greyhound.
Most reasonable is a matter of opinion. Some people would consider Greyhound over-priced if you PAID them to ride it.
Most scenic is Amtrak (best for getting views, because you aren't concentrating on a highway) and/or car (because you can stop along the way).
Easiest is also a matter of opinion. Most relaxing is Amtrak. Easiest to arrange is Greyhound -- buses are frequent and you can (generally) get a ticket five minutes before the bus leaves.

I took the bus from Pittsburgh to NYC when I was in high school, and I can sum the trip up on one word--ugh.

Have only ever flown - and can;t imagine wasting all those hours on either a bus or train.

There are rideshare websites, probably also on craigslist. Not the best idea, but another idea. Amtrak is overpriced and slow, but at least you know you'll never hit traffic and trains are roomier and probably cleaner than buses.
