well i've had some e mails back but none tell me for sure if they are filming dawsons creek in the summer at wilmington can anyone or does anyone know someone who can help me boy are there some nutters out there yeah i'm talking to you clued you ugly moron

OK, Pete. By now it should be clear that no one is going to provide the answer. Could you possibly just phone the show's producers and ask them? Or ask the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce or Film Board (if they have one)? Who knows? You might just be discovered. Good luck!

Pete, I'm sorry no one has given you an answer, but I too would call the number of the tour of the studios. That's what I plan to do when I get to the beach. My guess, however, as a native of NC, is that it's too hot, muggy and especially buggy to film outside in Wilmington in August. Just a hunch - but good luck!

Pete, I read in today's newspaper that they will be filming beach scenes in late July on Topsail Beach (about 20 miles north of Wilmington). Other scenes will still be filmed in Wilmington.

The article only said that it would be in late July and that they would be filming beach scenes. Topsail's not that big, and I would imagine that the production would be hard to miss.

I'm not a Dawson's Creek Fan, but they filmed last night just inside the inlet on the north end of the island. They broke down the set today. It was pretty awesome seeing all the equipment and "stuff" on tiny Topsail Island! (I love Topsail)

A co-worker was there while they were filming near Topsail as mentioned above and was able to meet most of the cast, although they didn't really have time to talk.

Dawson's Creek was filming last night at "Dawson's Creek" or as we know it Hewlett's Creek. Good luck!
