Sad new here in Las Vegas today. It was announced about an hour ago that Danny Gans died over night in his sleep. Our prayers to his family.

That is too bad. He was one of the most under-appreciated performers in Vegas.

Wow. I never got to see him but that's a surprise. How old was he? I heard his show was wonderful.

My mother in law called me this morning to tell me this sad news. I believe he was only about 51 or 52, right around there, not very old at all. And he always seemed very fit and in good health. I'm telling you, if you never got the opportunity to see his show, you have truly missed out on something spectacular. We saw him about 5 times, and I would have continued to see his show, he was AMAZING! So sad, he will be missed. A very sad loss for Las Vegas.

We have plans to be in Las Vegas over Memorial Day weekend and couldn't get tickets to his show that weekend because it was already sold out. And this was when I checked over a month ago. We saw it once and would have gone again. It was terrific!
