As you can probably guess from the lack of responses, CPSD is a little known area. I don't think there are any off-road areas in the park. You basically drive into the park on a paved road and park in a parking lot. (Too many "parks" in that sentence.) Then you walk out into the dunes on a wooden-planked walkway. it is a gorgeous little place, and well worth the time to see it. it can get broiling hot back there though, because the sun bounces off the sand.
The nearby little town of kanab is kinda cute and worth a looksee.
Have fun.

We liked visiting the park. My boys walked to the top of one of the big dunes and rolled down. If you do this, do not have a camera in your pocket!
Very fine sand. You can drive a dune buggy but i'm not sure if there is anyplace that rents them.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes St. Park is a very nice short visit and picnic spot. Very beautiful! There is a small campground there which is full of ATVers. They rip up everything that isn't protected area in the park, so I wouldn't want to camp there. But - it is worth a visit if you have the time.
