Let me know your ideas!

I went to an island called Madeira in April, which most Americans have never heard of. Madeira is a small island near the coast of Northern Africa, but it's owned by Portugal. The coolest thing to do there is the levada walks. Levadas carry water down the mountainside and the outer edge of the levada sort of doubles as a walking trail. If you google "levada walks Madeira" you will get a lot of good info.

I've been to about 50 countries worldwide, but Madeira is the most incredible place I've ever seen. It really raised the bar in terms of scenery, and all other places will be hard-pressed to top Madeira.

Going to the top of Mt. Irazu in Costa Rica and being surrounded by a blanket of clouds. That's the first time I came close to wanting to jump off a "cliff"!

Huuuh??? what did starrs say that was so unacceptable?

Excellent GoT - Unfortunately, Pedro's has become somewhat of a tourist trap since your last visit.

And to elaborate on my response to your post (the second response posted) -

Outrigger Canoe experience - arranged by the Four Seasons Hualalei, Big Island. Also included a visit to a private beach with chairs, coolers, and beach games waiting for us at the beach - but the best part was paddling in the Outrigger canoe with experienced Hawaiian paddlers. I loved watching them from shore during my first visit to Maui. Loved being in the canoe and pretending I was helping to paddle. I'm just amazed that the Polynesians and native Pacific Islanders traversed such great distances in outriggers on the open ocean.

I dunno, I think it's important to not be such a cry baby if you plan on doing some world-wide exploring.

GoT, I guess no one cared that you get ice cream at Pedros!

Definite troll (and I rarely ever use that term).

GoT definitely WTF indeed.
I didn't even know they could do that! I wonder if they'll edit our spelling errors as well if we only ask them!
