I don't know about destiny - the Yankees will have something to say about that.

I hate the Yankees, but the Red Sox are right behind. Rude fans, ugly uniforms
and ugly ballpark.

Rachelle!!! How could blaspheme Fenway Park?! Sure it's old and out-dated, but it (and Wrigley Field) are cathedrals to the national pasttime.

You don't have to agree. You may see it as a classic. I just think the park is old and ugly. And come on, admit it, they don't have cool uniforms.
They're dull.

Thankfully, the style of the uniforms does not influence the talent of the players. Congratulations Red Sox... No one deserves to win more.

I'm a life-long Cubs fan, but I would like to congratulate the Red Sox. I'm hoping for a Cubs-Red Sox World Series (but of course, both teams have some other business to take care of first!)

Rachelle - Its not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing. We're in a celebratory thread here. Your comments display a lack of manners.

I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES!!!! The Sox will beat the Yankees and it will be a classic Sox versus Cubs... George Steinbreener will be crying and complaining about everything... What the heck do uniforms have to do with their winning... and certaily Fenway Park is a jewel among the mega sterile new facilities of other cities.. One thing is for sure..the new owners of the Red Sox have CLASS.. The Red Sox team actually like one another and are very supportive of each other..it shows..The Red Sox Fans are there winning or loosing...Just try to get tickets for any of their games..The highly touted Monster Seats (a brilliant move) are $50.00 each and the owners instead of raising prices have held a lottery for the average fan..Life is good....GO SOX!!!!

Thankfully Rachelle didn't mention jeans and tennies, and packing a jacket for hubby. I look for a fab series, regardless of who wins - after a somewhat miserable summer at Camden Yards (goodbye, Mike! and your wonderful 4th place four in a row - lets hear it for consistency). But Twins and Marlins - does that strike anyone else as powerboat race fans, not baseball?

It will be a battle of the 'Old Ballparks", with the House that Ruth Built" outlasting the "Houses of Bad Walls!
First the Green Monster will be tamed and then then the Ivory one will come tumbling down!!
Sorry folks, the best team money can buy will hold the trophy!!

Fenway Park is not just a ballpark, it's a cathedral! I'm glad the blasphemous plan to tear it down has been shelved. Some of us are still wicked pissed about the Garden!

Millar has suggested that the Red Sox Nation shave their heads as they have done in support of their team. I can hardly wait to see the Boston fans at Fenway Saturday. The only reason Nomar hasn't done it is because of his upcoming marriage next month....but you never know... Do you notice wherever the Red Sox play there are always the Red Sox fans there..cheering on more than the home team....It's fun to be a Red Sox fan...no waiting "until next year"...

Samson lost all his strength when Delilah cut his hair. Still being superstitious, I suggest they keep their hair.

I heard Mia Hamm is going to shave HER head! As a Yankees fan here in New England, I must say I would be thrilled at the prospect of a Sox-Cubs Series (just so long as the Sox win... in seven, of course). I'm still recovering from that gut-wrencher last night. Way to go BoSox!!

COWBOY UP! Jeter & the boys are ready.
