Comedy Club???
We'll be in the city Christmas Night & the night after... want to go to a comedy club with our 17 11/12 year old son... what club do you recommend? We love people like Dane Cook, Wanta Sykes, Lewis Black... although no one like that is around ... How is Dangerfield's or NY Improv?
Thanks

Some of the clubs have age restrictions so double check before you go. I would imagine most will be closed on Christmas Night. Some of the clubs are doing special performances for Christmas Eve like "A very Jewish Christams."
Stand-Up NY appears to be open on both those nights but has an age restriction of 15 with parents. I haven't heard much about Dangerfields lately.

Just a quick follow up... We ended up going to Dangerfield's and it was fantastic! We were told there were going to be 2 comics, but there were 5 PLUS the Emcee. It's a little tiny hole in the wall (which is actually great - very intimate!), but most of the comedians were top notch - and we'd seen some on the Comedy Channel. There was no drink or food minimum and we'd found a buy one admission, get one free coupon in the Entertainment Book... so it was a real NY BAAAAHGAIN!!!! I would definitely recommend Dangerfield's!
