Clearwater Beach/Wild Teens??

We will be traveling to clearwater beach the second week in march, how wild will the partiers be? We have a 12,9 year old so we are a little concerned.Would we be better off going further south,we'll be going to disney the following week. Also can anyone give me insight on the Chart House Suites in clearwater beach? Thanks a bunch.Doug

Look into staying on Sandy Key, just over the bridge (south) from Clearwater Beach. It will be quieter than Clearwater Beach....

Hi Doug:

I don't think that you will have any problems in Clearwater. The spring breakers are further down the State.

If you said, Daytona, Ft. Lauderdale, South Beach, Keys - I would say there may be a few party animals around, but I would have to say you are pretty safe. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would agree about Sand Key. We stayed at the Sheraton and it was a nice hotel for a family.

I stayed at the Sheraton Sand Key a few years ago in mid March. The hotel resort is nice and is removed from the busier section of Clearwater Beach where all of the springbreakers congregate. The only problem I found at that time of year is that the roads through Clearwater Beach get pretty backed up with all of the college students cruising up and down along the pier area. But other than that minor hassle, we had a nice time.
