Chuckwagon Dinner in the Mount Rushmore Area

Could anyone suggest which cowboy dinner is the best one - Fort Hays in Rapid City, Blue Bell Hayride in Custer or Circle B Chuckwagon in Hill City. I will be there on the 6th and 7th of September with my husband, two 19 year olds and two 21 year olds.

Not having been on any of them, I would choose the one in Custer simply because I loved Custer State Park for it's wildlife and beauty.

The film set for Dances with Wolves is out at Fort Hayes, which is cool. Circle B Ranch looks really nice from their site though. Hard pick, but I'd choose Circle B myself. Let us know how it goes!

If you are ever in Arizona be sure to check out Blazin' M Ranch. Their Chuckwagon Supper & Western Stage Show is a lot of fun too. http://www.blazinm.com for more info

I am going to re watch Dances with Wolves this weekend. Circle B only runs until Labour Day but they said to phone again next week. Thanks for the heads up - we are planning to go to the Nascar race in phoenix one day.

Which did you go to? We're planning one for June and leaning toward Custer.
